Title: Legislative Director
Ad: Responsibilities will include but not be limited to writing support and opposition bill memos; analysis and synthesis of bills and their impact on the civil justice system; coordinating opinions of our legislative committee and NYSTLA leadership to form coherent positions on policy and legislation; and researching and updating positions on legislative and regulatory initiatives as they arise.
He or she responds well under pressure, turns around writing assignments quickly, and is good at multitasking. NYSTLA is a politically active statewide not-for-profit organization of over 4,000 consumer attorneys protecting the civil justice system and the rights of all New Yorkers since 1953.
