    2013 Super Advance Preview

    By City Hall

Now that the polls have been closed for about 12 hours (check out unofficial election results by clicking here)—let the 2013 races begin! With a mere 1,462 days until voters trudge back to the polls, the countdown has begun, at least for the political junkies of this city. There will by then (maybe) be a new term limits law in place and (maybe) an open race for mayor. Assuming that political ambitions have not dimmed by then, we expect a number of open seats, and likewise, a number of crowded and competitive races. Limiting ourselves to the citywide and borough-wide races, assuming there are vacancies and those who have been interested in the past remain interested, City Hall tapped into the rumor and speculation mills and dusted off our high-powered, entirely unscientific crystal ball.
